I'm still working on the 2nd part of my translation project. I received an email from my project supervisor this morning urging me to hand it in but I had to go to a funeral after work so that was 3 very productive hours gone. Ahhh... I'm so fucked!

Funerals

Tonight's funeral was the second one I've gone to this year. The first one was my eldest uncle's. This one was his daughter's.

I'm not close to any of them but this did get me thinking maybe I should start planning for my own funeral. Death can hit you at the most unpredictable time and I really hate people bitching about my funeral.

Doctor Who

This episode of Doctor Who really bowled me over. This is real sci-fi. This is what television should be. But why is Eccleston quitting?

Sometimes I wonder why there are so few good lesbian films. Even classics like When Night Is Falling isn't really that good a film. And L Word can't compare with QAF, UK or US. Maybe there're simply too few women directors, and too few of them inclined to make lesbian stuffs.

I'm tempted to say Producing Adults is one of the rare good lesbian films. But it isn't really a lesbian film 'cause it isn't about lesbians. It just happens to have a female couple (who, from the look of it, are bisexuals who don't label themselves as anything at all). But this film feels so natural and so right I really do love it.
