Before Desperate Housewives, I would've never liked a woman who looked as plastic as Bree.
And it was Beautiful Thing and Queer as Folk which made me fall in love with the big-hearted matriachs who were messed up themselves.

Is it strange that it was gay men who taught me to see women in a different light and to love women in almost all shapes and sizes?
