Random Thought of the Day

Japanese influence on the BL community in Hong Kong is in many ways quite similar to the American influence on gay communities all over the world. We import the categories/terminology they use, imitate (or think we're doing) what they do and do it in our local way, and we see them as the Holy Land although we don't necessarily know that much about them. And our opinion/cultural leaders are those elite who are familiar or connected with the country/culture of what we consider our "spiritual motherland".

BTW, I'm still obssessing over Hugh Laurie's legs after watching the Blackadder The Third and Blackadder Back and Forth clips for the nth times last night.
