The Tubey Awards

It’s still nomination time but I’m already tearing my hair off thinking about who to vote for in the Tubey Awards this year. I didn’t realize there had been so many brilliant dance performances until I took a look at the nominees:

Best Dance Performance
- The Master dancing to I Can’t Decide in Doctor Who
- Captain Jack dancing with Captain Jack in Torchwood
- Stephen Colbert’s dance-off with Rain in the Colbert Report
- Victor Garber dancing to George Michael's Freedom in Eli Stone

How can I choose between them?! Maybe I should just vote for Colbert because DW & TW will definitely split the votes.


Other categories are hard to choose from too.
In Best Relationship, there's The Doctor and Donna in Doctor Who, the Pegg/Frost-esque relationship between Sam and Sock in Reaper, the ambiguously deep love between Nathan and Peter in Heroes & House and Wilson in House.
And in Best Sidekick - I'm again torn between Donna, Sock and Wilson, as well as Ando (who is sidekick personified, and in season 2 a model wife too).
Best New Show - I'm torn between Pushing Daisies and Reaper.
Best Talk Show - Last year it was TCR for sure but this year's TDS has been wonderful with all the brilliant new correspondents I have no idea which one I should vote for
Best Tearjerker - Tosh and Owen's deaths in Torchwood and Amber's death in House
Best Performance by an Inanimate Object - the cling film in Pushing Daisies, the bullet in The Colbert Report (or the Colbert portraits?) and the Weeping Angels in Doctor Who.

I'm only sure about my vote in these categories:
Most Improved Show - It's got to be Torchwood
Best Drama - Doctor Who
Favorite Character - Donna Noble, no question about it!
Best Season/Series Finale - Life on Mars
