Lost 1-2. Predictably.
What really got me down was that our defensive shambles and the fact that we generally didn't gel.
And Roeder didn't know a thing about substitution. Just like Harry.

Watched Coverboys again. Still love the scene between Tim Hamilton and Johan Paulik. Cheered me up a bit.

Need to go to my grandma's birthday dinner. That's the last thing I want now. Especially because it clashes with live Premiership matches.

hey, we lost 1-2 to one of the three teams that has a chance of winning the league. I think that's all right. granted, there's man u and then trailing by far are leeds and liverpool (scousers with a better chance than leeds) but hey, it's just one game. no mind that it's indicative of how the rest of the season will be, it's just one game. eck, how did I become a west ham fan?

I just hope we manage to stay in the Premiership next season. It seems most teams have strengthened their squads and the promoted teams aren't that bad at all. I hope we get our defence right soon...

But I do believe, if we could pull it through, we'd be a force in the Premier League. Alright, we'd never win the league but Europe is definitely not out of reach... if we could keep our promising youngsters.

europe is out this year. staying in the league? I think that's manageable. I didn't get to see any footage, but from the match reports I read, the hammers seemed much stronger (even as anemic as they were) against liverpool than they did the last half of last year. hell, it wasn't until the second to last game last year that we were relegation safe.
