My PC's acting up

The PC which I use to maintain my websites is having some weird problems. I can’t access any web sites except my ISP’s and google. And one or two bittorrent downloads still work but the others. I’m thinking my computer must be attacked by some weird virus. I hope I don’t need to format the hard disk. It’d be a pain to back up all the things on it.
