Censorship in BBC Entertainment in Singapore

I had no idea BBC Entertainment cut Gwen's kiss with the girl in the second episode and the two kisses between Tosh and Mary. I'm glad I didn't subscribed to BBC Entertainment in my cable package – I've a niggling fear that it would just show the same heavily censored version for all Asian countries.

Ack, I specifically asked for it from my cable provider (not that I watch it much; I should cancel...). Maybe it's only Singapore...

P.S. Why would anyone cut out teh gay from Torchwood? There'd be no show left. *scratches head*

I don't get it either. Did you catch it on BBC entertainment? It would be nice to confirm it either way, just out of morbid curiosity.

BTW, will you go to the HKIFF?

No, I haven't had a chance to watch it on TV yet. They never show it when I'm watching. *checks schedule* Well, give me 'til next week and I might be able to tell you. Somehow they're only showing it once a week. Weird.

I always think about going to the HKIFF and never end up going. Bad Alex. Though I've been thinking about going to Che a lot.

OMG. I just watched the Captain Jack Harkness episode on BBC Entertainment and they cut both the dance *and* the kiss. Argh. I'm totally cancelling.
